It was a great honour for NK to be invited to be a part of the entertainment at The Bobby Ball Foundation Dinner at the Empress Ballroom in the Wintergardens Blackpool. Although we were disappointed not to be able to take all our fabulous dancers, the ones who represented us made us extremely proud with a routine devised and choreographed by Hannah and accompanied by the beautiful voice of Jess Camaleri. The reception they received was overwhelming, particularly from our new patrons, Hazel Derbyshire and Tommy Cannon who made a point of talking to them at length backstage as did other celebrity guests, Lee Mack, Tim Vine and Sherrie Hewson.

The event itself was a glittering array of evening gowns and black ties with red braces, as a special tribute to Bobby. There was a host of star-studded entertainment, including Bobby’s son’s, The Harper Brothers, who, together with Tommy, gave a tear jerking rendition of Tommy and Bobby’s famous song “Together We’ll Be Ok” The fabulous food and stunning decoration certainly celebrated the life of Bobby Ball and raised a huge amount of money for the foundation which is founded in his memory. The evening will certainly remain in the memory of our performers for a long time to come.
