Culture Stockport wants to develop new links with agencies, groups and individuals to give the cultural sector in Stockport a voice

NK Theatre Arts are part of Culture Stockport, a partnership of local cultural organisations and individuals, supported by Stockport Council, has been formed to nurture and champion the work of the sector and promote the Borough as a flourishing, creative place. Working in partnership with cultural practitioners and individuals, the network aims to build momentum to ensure that we create optimum conditions for culture to thrive in the town.

Culture Stockport wants to develop new links with agencies, groups and individuals to give the cultural sector in Stockport a voice and an equal opportunity to contribute towards the future development of the town’s emergent cultural strategy: The Place That Makes Itself.

In March, the network is hosting five engagement events across the Borough aimed at creative and cultural sector individuals, organisations and businesses where you can find out more about the work of the network and what we have done so far, tell us what is most important to you or your business and let us know how you or your organisation want to be involved.

These events will showcase where we’ve got to with our work to date. There will also be opportunities for tours of the venues, networking, discussions and a chance to join the network and work with us on strengthening the work of the cultural sector.

If you are interested in getting involved, book onto one of the free events via Eventbrite.
