EXCITING PRODUCTIONS AHEAD WITH SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
We can’t wait for some fantastic performances this coming season which are specifically aimed at providing a wonderful opportunity for students both from schools and colleges to experience live theatre back at The Forum! We have three incredible shows scheduled, which we sure will be very popular – so if you are interested in making a booking for your school then we advise you to do so early as we anticipate demand to be high. We are also delighted to announce we have a very special offer on tickets purchased for school groups this season: £8 per student ticket if you were to book for 1 production £7 per student ticket if you were to book for 2 productions £5 per student ticket it you were to book for all 3 productions To be eligible for the offer above you must book a minimum of 10 student seats per performance – however you do not need to bring the same group of students to each show. Schools will be offered 1 free staff seat per 10 student tickets booked. We are also able to provide day time performances, which are specifically for students and include a special follow up Director Workshop – giving the students a chance to talk to the cast, crew and creative team behind the show. This has proved invaluable for schools in the past as it allows young people an insight into all elements of the production, which helps them when it comes to drama reviews, comparing and contrasting performances etc. If you are interested in receiving more information about these special matinee performances exclusively for educational establishments then please contact us and we will be happy to help! Take a look below at the productions we have coming up!

How can the Outreach Team help to support your school?
Throughout the forthcoming academic year NK Theatre Arts’ Outreach Team will be running a series of “action weeks” corresponding with specific themes or topics potentially being covered in classrooms across Stockport and beyond.
From Anti Bullying Assemblies to World Book Day sessions, even touring pantomimes, there is so much on offer for you to choose from. So why not let us help to bring some Performing Arts magic to your school this year.
Anti-Bullying Assemblies & Workshops
NOVEMBER 2024
During the month of November, we will be touring schools with our Anti-Bullying programme. This includes performances, assemblies and workshops all aimed towards opening conversations with young people about bullying and the effects and impact it can have.
During the interactive assembly, the audience will meet 3 characters who all tell their stories. Lead by an NK practitioner, we get to STOP THE ACTION and help each of the characters by offering them advice and suggestions.
The Workshops available are delivered by experienced practitioners and offer a wide range of activities including the creation of an advert or video which can be used in school, various drama activities to help open conversations and highlight the impact of bullying and how to help prevent it. To engage with younger students, we can even bring puppets along to help along the discussions.
The sessions can be tailored in length and we can work with a class, small groups or even an entire year, dependant on space.
A member of the team will be on hand throughout the planning stage to ensure that we are meeting any specific needs you may have as a school to ensure that our objective matches yours.
